Description:
    Tokyo Institute of Technology is the largest science and technology university in Japan with a 128-year history in Japan. In April 2006, Tokyo Tech deployed a “TSUBAME” that has become the fastest supercomputer outside of the United States, according toTop500, by achieving 38.18 TFLOPS (Peak: 50 TFS) in the Linpack Benchmark, as of June, 2006. In June 2008, it achieved 67.7 TFS (Peak: 106 TFS). In October 2008, the GPGPU(Tesla S1070) was installed and the peak performance increased to 161 TFS.
